Before your wedding day

Booking an officiant does not make you married. You are responsible for obtaining a valid Virginia marriage license from a Virginia circuit court clerk's office before the marriage is performed. A Virginia marriage license is valid for 60 days from the date of issuance, and the marriage must take place in Virginia. Came For The Cake performs the officiant portion of the marriage and completes and returns the officiant's portion of the marriage documentation as required.
